The talking newspaper for Coventry produces a weekly show for the blind and partially sighted featuring news, sport, what’s on, entertainment features and information from the Coventry & Warwickshire area. Started in 1976 as a weekly 60 minute program delivered by hand on cassette, the show has moved to a 90 minute version produced on USB stick, SD card, website audio, itunes download and can be still found on cassette now delivered by the royal mail.
Recorded from our studios in Earlsdon in Coventry and run entirely by volunteers and public donations, the talking newspaper in Coventry complies news and information from the local newspaper, websites, articles submitted from local councils and related organisations.
